One of the things you come to realize when you work for conglomerates is that these companies are really big. How big? Well, you can kick them in the nuts and about six months later they’ll say, “Ouch.”

A few examples: I had worked for KPMG and I sold them some photographs of a building in Paris. They called me back several years later and said, “We loved that stuff, can you do more on this building?”

I said, “Yeah, sure, but I don’t know who owns the building now. It might be a competitor of yours.”

They said, “Well, do the best you can. Maybe shoot some other buildings.”

Okay, I go there, look at the building in question. There on the top is the logo of the owner, KPMG. They had no idea that they owned it.
