Chapter 6. Assess and Plan for the Resources You Need
Every assignment, task, or responsibility requires its own set of resources. Without the necessary resources—skills, tools, materials, and people support—it is much more difficult to accomplish your job, whatever it may be. Unfortunately, sometimes you might not have the proper resources to do the tasks assigned to you, and you might not even realize it—until It's too late. If That's the case, you may be trying to push a boulder uphill using brute force, not knowing that a pulley is available to do the job more easily. And the boulder will most likely keep rolling back down. If you don't even know what resources you lack, then you are not being set up for success.
