So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

This chapter calls for detailed planning of UX research with stakeholders. It discusses research plans and how to write ones that stakeholders appreciate, and it focuses on the most important part of planning studies – defining goals and research questions. The chapter ends with a discussion about selecting and describing methodologies in ways stakeholders relate to and about the power of injecting quantitative aspects into qualitative studies.
