6. Burning CDs and Other Discs

One of the coolest things you can do with iTunes is to burn, or create, your own CDs. You can create your own greatest hits compilation of your favorite songs, burn it to a CD, and then listen to that CD anywhere—take it to a party, or listen to it in your car. Unlike the commercial CDs you purchase, the CDs you burn contain only the music you want. It’s downright liberating.

iTunes makes this process extremely easy. Essentially, you add the songs you want to a playlist, and then click the Burn Disc button. Of course, as is the case with most iTunes features, you should know about various options and techniques that will ensure a smoother process.
