Chapter 4. Introduction to Presentation Architecture

In the next several chapters, we'll be looking at ways to present the user interface of our application. With all the attention given to Web applications and Web Services, it's easy to start thinking that these are some radically new types of applications. In reality, the difference between a legacy application, a Web application, and a Web Service frequently comes down to nothing more than a change to the user interface. Not surprisingly, a great number of the examples in this book boil down to changing out the presentation, or user interface, layer within our example application.
