How should we manage the next wave of Web Services technology? One key lesson learned from the Web Services technology evolution is that we need to believe in the value proposition and benefits of Web Services technology (such as easier integration and interoperability with legacy systems). Chasing after each wave of technology evolution will not help us manage our business and technology challenges. By learning how to apply the appropriate technology to the relevant business challenge, in the right business context, we can reap the benefits within months.
