Synopsis
The javax.naming
package contains the core interfaces, classes, and
exceptions for performing naming operations with JNDI. Context
represents named objects in a naming system, while InitialContext
provides an entry point into a naming system. Binding
is the
association between a name and an object in a naming
system. NamingException
is the root of a large collection of naming
exceptions defined by JNDI.
