Synopsis
A ServletConfig
object passes configuration information from the server to a servlet. ServletConfig
supports initialization parameters (also known simply as init parameters) defined by the server administrator for a particular servlet. These parameters are accessed via the getInitParameter()
and getInitParameterNames()
methods. ServletConfig
also includes a ServletContext
object, accessible via getServletContext()
, for direct interaction with the server.
