Name
Inet6Address
Synopsis
Inet6Address
implements methods defined by its
superclass to make them specific to IPv6
(Internet Protocol version 6) internet addresses. See RFC 2373 for
complete details about internet addresses of this type.
Inet6Address
does not have a constructor. Create
instances with the static methods of InetAddress
,
which return instances of Inet4Address
or
Inet6Address
as appropriate. In
Java 5.0, you can also use the
getByAddress( )
factory methods of this class
directly.
