In Chapter 2, “Enterprise Java Beans,” you studied the concepts and theories about session and entity beans in detail. Now it is time to put this information into practice. Analyzing an example after a long discussion is the best way to learn something new.
In this chapter, I will only provide sample applications and their source code. Refer to Appendix B, “Application Deployment Tool,” to learn how to deploy these sample applications if you are using the Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) Reference Implementation.
