Your beans can run as ActiveX controls in OLE, COM, or ActiveX containers with almost no additional work on your part. Even if you've never heard of OLE, COM, or ActiveX, chances are that you use software that supports it. For instance, all of the Microsoft Office products support ActiveX controls.
