A Simple Web Service: Booking Service
The underlying project for this chapter is a room booking service. Such a service would be useful for business centers, business hotels, or a multinational company with offices in various locations. (If you're unfamiliar with business centers, they rent meeting rooms for short duration, sometimes as little as half a day.)
Because it's not possible to hold two meetings in the same room at the same time, you need to track room usage. You also need a mechanism to reserve rooms for a date.
