Introduction

The objective of this edited volume is to show how job quality is shaped by different kinds of flexibility practices and also show workers’ strategies to cope with internal and external pressures for flexibility in workplaces, professions and sectors. The overarching aim is to describe how and explain why job quality is affected or influenced by different strategies for flexibility.
