The first law of salesmanship is that you sell benefits, not products or services as such. And that is true if you are trying to sell an idea to yourself, especially one that is going to call for sustained effort, the painstaking construction of daily habits and a commitment to continuous incremental improvement.

The benefits of not wasting your time in doing the wrong things, or merely frittering it away on trivialities, are:
