Chapter 1: Starting jOOQ and Spring Boot
This chapter is a practical guide to start working with jOOQ (open source and free trial commercial) in Spring Boot applications. For convenience, let's assume that we have a Spring Boot stub application and plan to implement the persistence layer via jOOQ.
The goal of this chapter is to highlight the fact that setting the environment for generating and executing SQL queries via jOOQ in a Spring Boot application is a job that can be accomplished almost instantly in any of the Java/Kotlin and Maven/Gradle combinations.
