You already learned how to develop your own plugins, but depending on your project and timeline, you might want to incorporate a plugin written by someone else. Thousands of jQuery plugins are available on the Internet, and many have been tracked and updated at http://plugins.jquery.com/. Although this started out as a good idea, there were architectural problems with the site, and hundreds of plugins were submitted that have long since been abandoned or have not received an update to newer versions of jQuery.
