Chapter 10. Collaborative Filtering and Recommendation System
Every day, we are immersed with decisions and choices. These can range from our clothes to the movies we can watch or what to eat when we order online. We take decisions in business, too. For instance, which stock we should invest in. The set of choices that we have can vary depending on what we are actually doing and what we want. For example, when buying clothes online from Flipkart or Amazon we see hundreds or thousands of choices. Amazon's Kindle store is so huge that no one can read all the books in their lifetime. To make these decisions, we require some background information and maybe a little help in knowing what can be best for us.
