Content is a fairly broad and murky concept, so here’s a definition for our purposes.
“Content” is everything that a user of the site consumes when they interact with your service.
Using this definition, content means everything from imagery through
to navigation, features, forms, words, and video. Limiting our view to just
the data that sits inside the main-col
div is insufficient. Taking a consumption-based view allows us to consider
non-human users of our content such as bots and other programs as
well.
Responsive Content (RC), then, is a way of making the content on our site adapt or morph based on the behavioral context of the user.
