So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 2 Artboards, Layers, and Styling
In comparison to Adobe Photoshop, layers in Sketch tend to feel quite tangible—as if you could effortlessly mold them into shape with your fingers. Point-and-click actions are very smooth, even though keyboard shortcuts make up most of the interactions, and styling layers is a total breeze from start to finish.
In this chapter, we’re going to discuss the magic of Artboards, as well as take a deeper look into the different types of layers and how we style them using the Inspector.
