A brief history of Bluetooth

Bluetooth technology, as originally envisioned, was something that was invented and put forth by the Swedish telecommunication company Ericsson. The original concept for Bluetooth began back in 1989 when a group of engineers at the company decided to come up with, or were tasked with coming up with, a short-range radio technology that would be able to transmit and enable communications between the personal computers and headsets that Ericsson was intending to bring to market at that time.
