In the past, electronic security meant keeping your passwords private and your computers safe from intrusion. Now, it can also encompass physical safety. You can use devices you carry with you or use every day to help keep yourself safe from strangers out in the world or from people you know no matter where you are.
This chapter looks at the relatively new area of physical security that’s enhanced by digital tools. I break the chapter down into four areas, two of which are so far proprietary offerings from Apple that I hope spread further.
