Chapter Fifteen Finding our way in(to) the future
The future is not a place we can go or get into. But we can direct ourselves and our efforts to the future by considering the enduring challenges of PIM and related certainties. We can bet on having too much information and too little time to deal with it. We can keep our direction in the future through key considerations of PIM: How is personal information, in each of its several senses, managed through PIM activities as a means to manage our resources—money, energy, attention, and most of all, our time?
