It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Creating powerful connections (empathy)
Empathy: Understanding what another personis experiencing from within the other person’sframe of reference.
Coaching and developing greater empathy enables and empowers individuals, teams and organisations to connect better with others, and in doing so become more influential. This ability to understand and appreciate the feelings of others helps build trust and extend the options for more effective communication between people. People without empathy, no matter how talented or determined, quickly become isolated and marginalised.
