Influential leadership (influence)

Influence: Being a compelling force to affectthe actions, behaviour, opinions andperformance of others or a situation.

While management may be considered as maintaining or containing situations to remain optimal in the box that they are currently in, leadership is regarded more as a disruptive approach to create a whole new box in which situations can flourish to new levels. A leader aiming to be successful in transforming this chaos into sustained success will need to be positively influential.
