High-performance individuals, teams and organisations have to deal with as many issues as those who perform at lower levels; high performers, however, develop strategies to manage those issues in a way that leads to even better outcomes and results.

Conflict management is described as the process of limiting the negative aspects of conflict while increasing the positive aspects. The aim of conflict management is to enhance learning and group outcomes in effectiveness and performance.
