About the Author
Dr. Young is the recipient of the United States Presidential Award for Excellence in Science, Mathematics, and Engineering Mentoring (PAESMEM), which she received from President Obama in 2010. She has worked with hundreds of individuals around the country on developing strategies and implementing practices to improve their productivity and performance. Currently, she serves as the Vice President of Research and Institutional Advancement as well as the Chief Research Officer at Tennessee State University.
