In different countries and regions there are different words used to describe your personal profile, education, skills and abilities for a position. In some countries it is resume; in others it is curriculum vitae or CV for short. In some such as the USA, resume is often used for a job application, whereas curriculum vitae refers to a more academic resume.
We have adopted the standard term resume. As we progress through the stages of developing your resume, we have used the Foundation Resume to indicate a base document containing a wide range of your skills and abilities.
