I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
5 Building and Protecting Momentum
This book mainly focuses on big projects. When I discuss upgrades, I’m not talking about running a package manager to install the latest versions of your dependencies. When I mention deprecations, I’m not talking about versioning your API. Much of the advice in this book will work regardless of project size, but it is primarily intended for big ones.
Chapter 3 covered developing strategy around the engineering challenge posed by your legacy system. In that chapter, I described the shape and nature of different types of approaches and how to look at such a challenge holistically.
