The Killer’s Kiss Crane
This crane is made out of plumbing pipe and is super fast and easy to make. It’s a perfect complement to the Dark Passage dolly. On cameras over 7 lbs, you can get a little vibration at the end of a boom up or down. But since you typically operated this crane from the camera end, either by holding the camera or fluid head or the top or bottom boom, this vibration is eliminated. So no worries, really. Just to be clear; the vibration is very slight and is hardly a concern even if you operate the crane from the weight end.
