Identify and acknowledge your strengths
Too often, we focus on what we’re no good at and the things we don’t do well. But there are always going to be things we can’t do, things we can’t be; there are always going to be mistakes that we make. Of course, there’s nothing wrong with wanting to put right a wrong, to do better, to be aware of your potential and aim to improve, but being preoccupied with what’s ‘wrong’ and trying to fix it is an uphill struggle. Cut yourself some slack! Give yourself some recognition; identify what you do well – your skills, qualities and strengths.
