You will thrive more fluently if you are able to engage in work that is fulfilling to your sense of purpose at a company that has values in concert with your own. It is worth your effort to make this compatibility one of your career goals so that you can develop most fully and enjoy your working experience most effortlessly.
We read a lot about people pursuing fulfillment on the job, but most advice is to follow your dreams and make it happen, posthaste. “Prepare, drop everything and go to your dream” seems to be the rallying cry. There is good news and bad news as it relates to this guidance.
