South Korea is as starstruck as many other wired countries, and celebrity advertisements are big business. However, there are more products than celebrities in South Korea. If “one star = one product” is your goal, you are better off picking a pop idol from outside South Korea.
For example, one of South Korea’s most popular movie stars, Jang Dong-kun, appears in advertisements for Nintendo, SK Telecom, Hite beer, Samsung digital cameras, and Chung Jung-won food products.
