Parish Priest in a Business Suit
The hotel ballroom was darkened, but I was sure that if I could have seen the faces of my executives, I’d have caught a few eye rolls. “Here he goes again,” they were no doubt thinking, as I clicked “play” and the giant video screen lit up. By this point, they were accustomed to my habit of opening meetings with inspirational videos that had no immediate or obvious relationship to the business of running bakery cafés or selling sandwiches.
