With the increasing return on intangible assets becoming more prominent, there
is a pronounced shift from the brick and m ortar to the click and mortar, as seen in
e-commerce, e-business, supply chain management, customer relation management,
and the value chain for most companies worldwide. One may speculate that tomor-
rows firms may far exceed the current logic of e-technologies as business becomes
interlocked with learning and with digital storefronts along the Internetthe infor-
mation highway.
