Alert Users with Notifications

Ah, notifications, one of the biggest make-or-break features of an app. We know users have little patience for apps that frequently crash or don’t work as intended, as they should. Misuse of notifications is an excellent way to ensure people delete your app without hesitation. That being said, well-used notifications can be a perfect way to engage users and increase app usage.

Proper use of notifications could be its own chapter (or multiple chapters), but that’s not what we’re worrying about here. Instead, we’re going to focus on how you get those notifications to display when you do want to use them.
