So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Apache OpenWhisk and Kubernetes
In this chapter, we are going to look at Apache OpenWhisk. While not strictly a Kubernetes-only project, like, say, Kubeless and Fission (which are covered in the next chapter), it can be deployed on, and take advantage of, Kubernetes.
We are going to be looking at three main topics:
- An overview of Apache OpenWhisk
- Running Apache OpenWhisk locally using Vagrant
- Running Apache OpenWhisk on Kubernetes
