HERE ARE A FEW MORE IDEAS WHEN IT COMES TO USING LAYER STYLES

I mentioned earlier that there were literally thousands of possibilities when it comes to what you can do with layer styles. There are, and I can’t list them all but here are a few of my favorites.

Idea 1: Aqua Plastic Effect

The aqua plastic effect was all the rage back in the late ‘90s and early 2000s, and is just as cool of an effect now. To achieve this effect, make a pill-shaped selection and fill it with white to create the Web button shape, then use the Type tool to add the text for your button. Double-click on the layer to open the Layer Style dialog, and use the settings shown here and on the next few pages.
