Say It with Substance

On June 18, 1940, Winston Churchill gave a speech to the British House of Commons that was instrumental in turning the tide of World War II. The British were seemingly deflated on every front, but Churchill believed he could change the course of the war by laying out the facts of the situation and his solution to the problem with conviction. Here is an excerpt from that great speech, “Their Finest Hour”:1
