Diversity is being invited to the party; Inclusion is being asked to dance.

Introduction

We define a leader is inclusionist as an individual who embraces diversity and promotes conscious inclusion and equity in their organizations. They advocate and create the conditions for all people to thrive in the organization as it is, while actively creating policies, infrastructures, and practices that change the conditions within the organization so that all social identities can thrive.

In an earlier chapter we shared that vision is at the core of leadership.
