It is both humbling and fulfilling to know that the book has been integrated into the curricula at more than 150 universities, became a number-one best seller, and continues to influence numerous leadership programs. Occasionally I wonder, “Why did this book catch on?” Was it simply because it was one of the first leadership books to deeply connect personal growth to leadership effectiveness? Perhaps.
