Keeping these points in mind, let's look at an approach that CCL calls Developing Leadership Talent (DLT). Before we examine this framework it must be pointed out that the DLT approach is not intended to be a one-size-fits-all system. Instead it provides a flexible framework for designing a development system that fits your organization's needs.
At the center of this framework, which is summarized in the graphic above, is a two-level model of assessment, challenge, and support (ACS). ACS represents CCL's fundamental approach to development and grounds the entire DLT process.
