Let's look at an example of a sensitive issue within a team, using the guidelines outlined earlier to help determine what actions to take.

Let's say that you, the team leader, have made a couple of attempts to get your team to recognize and talk about the fact that when the two team members from the company's headquarters overseas make declarative statements about some aspect of the team's work, they are never challenged or even questioned by other members of the team. It's clear to you that the other members are giving these two way too much unofficial authority to shape the project, and you are concerned that this dynamic will lead to a final work product that leaves a lot to be desired.
