Johnnetta Cole is president of Bennett College for Women, a historically black college in Greensboro, North Carolina. She has a long and distinguished career as an educator and humanitarian. Her work as a college professor and president and her published works, speeches, and community service have consistently addressed issues of racial, gender, and other forms of discrimination.
