Karen Blakeley’s formative experience was working in the City of London during the deregulation of the banking sector. Following the collapse of Barings Bank, she appeared in the press and TV discussing the factors behind irresponsible leadership in banking. She went on to work as a leadership development consultant for clients such as British Airways, Barclays Bank, Pizza Express, PricewaterhouseCoopers and the Home Office. She now heads up the Centre for Responsible Management at Winchester Business School, a UK champion school for the UN Principles for Responsible Management Education.
