The night after Coach asked Mike to ask Kristy to move down to East Creek, Mike was just about wrapping up a phone call with her when he decided to bring it up. He had to admit that they had been getting along and that reconciliation was certainly what he expected would happen. "Hey Kristy?"
"Yeah?"
"One last thing. And I know you're gonna think it's crazy, but I want to run something by you."
"Okay..."
"Look, I really like it down here. The people are great and MMC is going great. It seems like you and I are getting back on track..."
"And... just say it."
"I'm wondering what you would think about moving down here to East Creek so we could start over down here."
Silence.
"Kristy?"
"I'm here. I'm just thinking."
"What are you thinking? ...
