Become a Great Listener

Talking is natural for us. Listening is not. Talking is fun and can seem fulfilling and, yet, listening is essential and can be even more rewarding than talking. We will explore some of the things that will help you become a great listener and some of the rewards of listening we might not have thought much about.

Listening is, of course, a function of the brain. We need ears to hear the words so that the brain can give those words meaning. So, to be an effective listener, our brains must be engaged.
