I once led a leadership workshop for a group of seasoned leaders in Chicago. Near the end of the session, one of the leaders said, “Bill, I get what you’re saying, and the content has been a great reminder of what I should be doing to be a better leader. So much of what you covered today has to do with taking an interest in developing the people I’m responsible for leading. I want to be a better leader, Bill, I really do.
