Thus far, we’ve looked at several examples that involve organization-to-organization collaboration. Getting two or more organizations (or units within one organization) to collaborate is tricky enough. Creating a collaborative mindset and initiative in a community is usually far tougher; dealing with various special interests, community leaders who are rivals for power, local politics, and shifting coalitions is no walk in the park.
