22.4. Inventing for the Common Good

Much of the excitement in today's business landscape revolves around new business models that the Internet has enabled. Let me close this chapter by giving a few examples of how e-services are enabling new business models that help solve some of the world's problems, such as hunger and poverty. HP has a vision of a world where the Internet works for people instead of people having to work the Net, a world where technology is truly for everyone, not just the elite.
