It’ll be alright in the end

There is a lovely saying in India:

Everything will be alright in the end. If it’s not alright yet, then it’s not the end.

I really like the philosophy behind this as it supports the rationale that a positive outcome is a matter of time and effort, not a hit or miss, win or lose activity. With this thinking we can focus on learning every day and this will involve sometimes getting it right and sometimes it going in the wrong direction. Every day that we practise one or more of the nine Lean tools we are able to learn from the experience that it delivered.
